Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri, and the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah, affirmed on Thursday the importance of holding the 31st session of the Jordanian-Iraqi Joint Committee in Baghdad in the near future.
The Ministry of Industry and Minerals' media office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri, received today the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah, and his accompanying delegation." The statement added that "the two sides held a meeting during which they discussed ways to enhance industrial and commercial cooperation and expand areas of joint coordination to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries."
The statement further noted that "the meeting discussed the latest developments regarding the progress of the Iraqi-Jordanian Economic City project, emphasizing the importance of overcoming the obstacles it faces, given the project's strategic significance in supporting the industrial sector and creating promising economic opportunities."
