Minister of Water Resources, Muthanna al-Tamimi, emphasized today, Thursday, the importance of expanding cooperation with reputable Turkish companies in a way that serves mutual interests and enhances water security in Iraq.

A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), indicated that "Minister of Water Resources, Muthanna al-Tamimi, received the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, accompanied by a delegation of Turkish businessmen, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the water resources sector."

The statement added that "the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in implementing water projects and benefiting from modern expertise and technologies in a way that contributes to developing water infrastructure and supports the ministry's efforts in managing water resources efficiently."

According to the statement, al-Tamimi stressed "the importance of expanding cooperation with reputable Turkish companies in a way that serves mutual interests and enhances water security in Iraq."
