Badr organization denies forming committee to follow up weapons inventory file

The media office of the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization denied on Wednesday the formation of a committee headed by Hadi al-Amiri to follow up on the issue of weapons inventory.

The media office director of the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, Muhammad Raad, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We deny what has been circulated by some media outlets and political circles, regarding the formation of a committee within the coordination framework headed by Hadi al-Amiri, to follow up on the issue of restricting weapons to the state.”

Raad confirmed that "the framework did not form any committee for this purpose."
