Follow-up - INA

The Jordanian government announced today, Thursday, that it intercepted Iranian missiles, while affirming the readiness of its armed forces to deal with any threat it faces.

The government stated in a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the sounding of sirens came after the Kingdom's airspace was violated by missiles launched from Iran."

It added that "the Kingdom intercepted the Iranian missiles," affirming "the readiness of its armed forces to deal with any threat it faces."

Meanwhile, the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that "eight missiles launched from Iran towards the Kingdom were shot down."
