The US Central Command announced on Thursday that it had carried out strikes on more than 170 Iranian military targets.
The New York Times quoted the US Central Command as saying, and the Iraqi News Agency (INA) followed up: "We carried out strikes on more than 170 Iranian military targets over the past two days."
It explained that "the strikes on Iran included air defense systems and drone and missile storage sites," adding that "our strikes on Iran targeted logistical infrastructure along the coast near the Strait of Hormuz."
