Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi held a phone call on Sunday to discuss regional developments, according to Iran’s ISNA news agency. The talks came amid escalating tensions after Iran launched another missile attack on Israel, following earlier warnings that it would respond to what it described as Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the bombing of Beirut’s southern suburbs.
