Here are the latest developments from across the region:
US attacks killed 60 people and injured about 670 other Iranians in the south of the country in the past 10 to 12 days, Al Jazeera reported, citing Iranian news agency reports.
Iran's military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has warned the US against attacking Iranian vessels in coastal and territorial waters, saying it will not leave any threat "unanswered".
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived in Washington to meet with US President Donald Trump. According to a White House official, the two will discuss the war on Iran as well as efforts to expand the Abraham Accords. They are also expected to talk about the framework for a peace deal with Lebanon.
Trump said that Washington was having "good talks" with Iran and there was a chance of a peace deal between the two countries. "I think there's a good chance that something could happen, and if it does, good, if it doesn't, we go back to doing what we were doing two days ago," he added.
Israeli and Lebanese officials will meet in Rome next week to continue discussions over a US-brokered agreement. A US State Department official said the meeting is expected to take place in Rome on 4-6 August, and is focused on "advancing the full implementation of the framework agreement".
Several drone strikes were reported in various areas in northern Iraq early on Tuesday, including attacks in Erbil, Soran and Khalifan. The US-led coalition’s air defences intercepted one drone over Erbil and struck down three more over Soran.
