PMF Arrests Suspect Under Dissolved Ba’ath Party Ban Law in Anbar

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Commission announced on Monday the arrest of a suspect in Anbar under the Dissolved Ba’ath Party Ban Law.

According to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “a joint force from the Intelligence Directorate of the 27th Brigade and the 1st Special Missions Regiment of the PMF, in coordination with the Commission’s Intelligence and Information Directorate, arrested a suspect under the Dissolved Ba’ath Party Ban Law during a security operation carried out in the Al-Halabsa area of Al-Karma District, east of Anbar Province.”

The statement added that “the operation was based on precise intelligence information, resulting in the arrest of the suspect and the completion of the necessary legal procedures against him in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.”
