The Kurdistan Region's Counter-Terrorism Service said on Wednesday that eight drones had been shot down over Erbil province.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the service said coalition forces intercepted and shot down eight drones over Erbil between 8:53 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday night, adding that no casualties were reported.
