Israel told US of alleged Iranian plot to kill Trump
Israel provided the US with new intelligence that indicated an Iranian plot to kill US President Donald Trump, according to the Wall Street Journal.
When comments were requested, the newspaper was referred by the White House to remarks made by Trump on Wednesday, where he alluded to threats to his life.
"They want to take out the U.S. leader—me," he told reporters in Turkey's capital of Ankara.
"I’m on every list. I saw this morning, I’m on every single one of their lists. And so far, I guess I’ve been a little bit lucky, but that maybe doesn’t last very long."
