The Coordination Framework-CF on Thursday praised the broad participation of Iraqis in the funeral procession of martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei and members of his family, saying the turnout reflected values of loyalty, dignity, and adherence to religious and national principles.
In a statement issued by its media office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Coordination Framework said: “The Iraqi people have once again proven that they are people of loyalty and dignity, and that they are a nation that does not forget those who stood by it and supported its causes. Through their broad participation and sincere emotions, they embodied the highest meanings of loyalty in the funeral procession of the pure body of the martyr of the nation, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and the martyrs from his family.”
The statement added that “the solemn presence and sincere feelings expressed by participants reflect the authenticity of the Iraqi people and their adherence to their religious, national, and moral values, and embody the depth of loyalty to those who made sacrifices for the causes of the nation.”
The Coordination Framework expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to all participants and to everyone who contributed to organizing, holding, and providing media coverage of the funeral ceremonies. It also thanked the governorates of Najaf and Karbala for their organization and reception efforts.
The statement concluded with a prayer that Allah accept the efforts of all participants, reward them abundantly, preserve Iraq and its people, and maintain the unity of its citizens on the path of truth and justice.
