The Counter-Terrorism Service –CTS announced on Saturday that it had seized an ammunition cache containing a large number of rockets in Al-Hamdaniya district of Nineveh province.
CTS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that, "Based on precise intelligence, the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out an operation to seize an ammunition cache containing a large number of rockets of various types, mortar rounds, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and other materials in Al-Hamdaniya district of Nineveh province."
It added that "the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Service continue to carry out their specialized operations across our beloved country to maintain security and stability for our people."
