The Directorate of Military Intelligence announced on Wednesday the arrest of three terrorists in Baghdad and Anbar.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the directorate said, "The directives of the Director of Military Intelligence, which emphasize the arrest of all those wanted on terrorism charges, are ongoing. Based on precise intelligence and continuous monitoring, the heroes of the Military Intelligence Directorate's detachments in the intelligence and security departments of the 6th and 17th Infantry Divisions were able to arrest two terrorists in the capital, Baghdad."
It added that "military intelligence detachments in the 10th Infantry Division, in another operation, arrested another terrorist in Anbar province."
It indicated that "the accused were subject to previous arrest warrants under Article (1/4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law, and they were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them."
