Qatar has confirmed that no frozen Iranian funds have been transferred to Tehran, stressing that any future release of the assets will depend on progress in negotiations between Iran and the United States. In a statement on Monday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said US officials Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to visit Doha for meetings with mediators to discuss developments in the ongoing negotiations.
