US Vice President J.D. Vance announced on Saturday that there is no evidence of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

"There is no evidence that Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz," Vance stated in a press conference, reported by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

Earlier, the Iranian Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

A statement from the headquarters indicated that "the Strait of Hormuz will be closed due to America's violation of Article 1 of the Memorandum of Understanding."
