Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem affirmed on Wednesday that the Islamic Resistance has broken the Israeli project and prevented it from controlling our land.
“The Resistance destroyed more than 500 Israeli army vehicles and downed 12 drones. Israel’s losses are more than 1,200 soldiers according to what they have announced, but the numbers are higher,” Sheikh Qassem said in a speech at the opening of the central Ashura Council at the shrine of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, “America’s colonial project in Iran has been broken, and we call for taking advantage of this pivotal stage after the agreement, based on the fact that we are strong.”
“Iran has become a significant power with its own voice and strength in the region, and the balance of power will change,” he highlighted.
Sheikh Naim underscored, saying, “Israel wants a weak Lebanon so that it can occupy it, and Netanyahu said that he wants a Greater Israel. Israel's project in Lebanon is to eliminate Hezbollah militarily, politically, culturally, and socially," emphasizing that "Hezbollah is not only fighting for land, but we are defending Lebanon's existence and future.”
He pointed out that "the resistance has thwarted Israel's project and prevented it from controlling our land."
