PM congratulates journalists on the 157th anniversary of Iraqi Press Day

We extend our best wishes to Iraqi journalists on the occasion of the 157th anniversary of Iraqi Press Day, which has contributed to strengthening and building the modern Iraqi state.

Al-Zaidi said in a post on the (X) platform, which was monitored by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):,”We reaffirm our support for the Iraqi media in all its forms, in recognition of its vital role in strengthening the foundations of our democratic system, while recalling the great sacrifices made by Iraqi journalists throughout the various national endeavors and defining moments.”
