Finance Minister Faleh Sari affirmed on Thursday his support for the Iraqi Media Network in presenting media discourse that reflects the state's priorities and addresses the concerns of the people.

A statement from the Ministry of Finance, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), indicated that "Finance Minister Faleh Sari met with a delegation from the Iraqi Media Network, headed by Karim Hammadi, where the minister listened to a briefing on the network's current operations, its efforts to develop its media performance, and the most prominent challenges facing national media work."

The minister affirmed his support for the Iraqi Media Network in presenting media discourse that reflects the state's priorities and addresses the concerns of the people, stressing "the importance of enhancing specialized media content, particularly on economic and financial issues, in order to simplify information, raise public awareness of government procedures and policies, and provide citizens with a clear picture."

For its part, the Iraqi Media Network delegation expressed its confidence in the measures being taken by the Ministry of Finance to address the current economic and financial challenges. They commended the Minister's efforts in managing the financial situation and working to overcome the crisis, thereby supporting stability and meeting the demands of this phase.

The statement continued, "The delegation also expressed its appreciation for the Minister's support of the Iraqi Media Network and his commitment to bolstering its national role in strengthening media professionalism and raising public awareness of issues affecting citizens' lives."
