The (Israeli) army announced on Tuesday that 30 officers and soldiers have been killed and 1,291 others wounded since the resumption of fighting in Lebanon in early March.
Media outlets quoted the (Israeli) army as saying that "48 officers and soldiers were wounded in battles in southern Lebanon during the past five days."
"30 officers and soldiers have been killed and 1,291 others wounded since the resumption of fighting in Lebanon in early March," reports added.
"75 of the soldiers and officers were seriously wounded and 146 sustained moderate injuries," reports continued.
