Israeli opposition leader and former army chief Gadi Eisenkot has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of failing to achieve the objectives of Israel’s military campaigns across the region. In a statement posted on X on Monday, Eisenkot said: “The Israeli government failed to achieve its war objectives on all fronts.” Eisenkot argued that the government’s handling of multiple conflicts had allowed regional issues to become increasingly interconnected, particularly regarding Iran and Lebanon. “The absence of a strategy has become a strategy in itself.
