U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran wants to reach an agreement and expressed confidence that a deal could be achieved soon.
According to Axios, Trump said that (Israel) informed the United States very late about the strikes it carried out against Iran, adding that he ultimately managed to limit the scope of those operations.
Trump said he had received calls from five countries in the region asking him to pressure (Benjamin Netanyahu) to halt the attacks.
He added that the countries which contacted him were deeply concerned and supported the agreement currently being negotiated between the United States and Iran.
Trump also said Iran wants to reach an agreement and expressed his belief that such a deal could be concluded in the near future
