DMI arrests three terrorists in Baghdad and Anbar

Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) announced on Monday the arrest of three terrorists in Baghdad and Anbar.

A statement from DMI, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “According to the directives of the Director of DMI which emphasize the overthrow and arrest of all those wanted in terrorism cases, and based on accurate intelligence information and separate duties, the heroes of the detachments of the Directorate of Military Intelligence in the intelligence and security departments of the Sixth and Seventeenth Infantry Divisions were able to arrest two terrorists in the capital, Baghdad.”

The statement added that " DMI detachments in the 7th Infantry Division were able, in another operation, to arrest another terrorist in Anbar province."

It added that “the accused had previous arrest warrants issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law, and they were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them.”
