The First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Adnan Fayhan, congratulated on Friday the Iraqi Hajj and Umrah mission on winning first place in the “Labaytum” Award for the fourth consecutive year as the best Hajj mission.

In a statement issued by his media office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Fayhan said: "We extend our highest congratulations to the Hajj and Umrah Commission, represented by its head Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, and to all its staff and supporting entities that contributed to organizing and facilitating the convoys of pilgrims, on the occasion of Iraq’s winning, for the fourth consecutive year, of the ‘Labaytum’ Award as the best Hajj mission among the missions of Islamic countries during the Hajj season."

He praised the great efforts exerted in serving the guests of Allah among Iraqi pilgrims, and the high level of organization, care, and attention that accompanied them.

He added that "this continuous achievement over four consecutive years reflects the high efficiency, professional discipline, and precision in performance of the Iraqi mission, affirming Iraq’s advanced position among Islamic countries in serving pilgrims, in a way that reflects a bright and honorable image of the country and its commitment to providing the best services to Islam and Muslims."
