The Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi congratulated on Friday the Iraqi Hajj mission’s winning of the first place in the “Labaytum” Award for the fourth consecutive year.
In a post on the (X) platform, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), he said that " With great pride, we received the news that the Iraqi Hajj and Umrah Commission, represented by its contingent to the Holy Sites, has won first place in the Labaytum Award for the fourth consecutive year, as the best Hajj contingent among all Islamic countries.
He added: “We commend the outstanding efforts of the Iraqi Hajj and Umrah Commission and all members of the Iraqi contingent, who have presented a distinguished image of their country through their professional, humanitarian, and ethical conduct.”
He continued: “On this occasion, we reaffirm our continued support for them and for all institutions dedicated to serving our citizens both inside Iraq and abroad."
