Al-Halbousi and Abdul-Wahid Discuss Ways to Support the Ministry of Environment Through Legislation

Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met today, Wednesday, with Minister of Environment Sarwa Abdul-Wahid to discuss a number of environmental and service-related issues, as well as ways to support the ministry through legislation.

The Speaker's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received Minister of Environment Sarwa Abdul-Wahid."

The statement added that "during the meeting, a number of environmental and service-related issues were discussed, along with ways to support the work of the Ministry of Environment through amending the ministry's law and legislation that serves the environmental sector."
