PM Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, affirmed on Wednesday their cooperation and its advancement in various fields.
Al-Zaidi met with Ambassador Inan on Wednesday, according to a statement from the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The meeting discussed “the path of strengthening bilateral relations,” emphasizing “cooperation and advancing it across various fields, particularly in the areas of oil exports, water management development, the strategic Development Road Project, and security coordination, in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries.”
They have also reviewed “ongoing efforts aimed at reducing escalation in the region,” stressing “the importance of supporting the negotiation option between the United States and Iran, and adopting diplomatic solutions and dialogue to ensure sustainable security and stability in the region and the world.”
