Iran’s UN Mission Accuses U.S. of Violating International Law over Maritime Blockade

Iran’s mission to the United Nations has accused the United States of continuing to violate international law through the maritime blockade.

In a letter to the UN Security Council, the mission said Washington had “once again misused the Security Council to spread lies against us and our peaceful nuclear programme,” adding that the United States continues to violate international law through “an illegal naval blockade.”
