Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa stressed their commitment to enhancing prospects for joint cooperation.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a phone call from Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, during which he extended congratulations on the renewal of confidence in him as foreign minister in the new government.”

It added that “during the call, both sides affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between the Republic of Iraq and the State of Palestine, and their commitment to enhancing prospects for cooperation and joint coordination in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples, in addition to continuing consultations on issues of mutual interest.”
