Prime Minister on National Mass Graves Day: We Are Committed to Justice for Victims' Families

Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi affirmed today, Saturday, on the occasion of the National Mass Graves Day, the commitment to justice for the families of victims and to providing them and all Iraqi citizens with a free and dignified life.

Al-Zaidi said in a post on the “X” platform, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “On the National Mass Graves Day, we remember the great sacrifices of our noble people, from all its components, when they were subjected to the most heinous forms of killing and torture at the hands of the ousted dictatorial regime.”

He added, “We affirm our commitment to justice for the families of the victims, whether those who were martyred at the hands of the ousted dictatorship or those targeted by its remnants belonging to terrorist organizations, and we pledge to provide them and all Iraqi citizens with a free and dignified life.”
