Egypt’s Actors Syndicate mourned the death of Egyptian actor Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, Followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the syndicate, headed by Ashraf Zaki and members of its board of directors, extended its “sincere condolences to the family of the great artist and his admirers, praying to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased and grant his family and relatives patience and solace.”

It added, “A body that enriched Arab art with immortal works has departed, but his name will remain present in the conscience of his audience and in the history of Egyptian and Arab art.”
