Roman desires to develop relations and expand cooperation with Iraq

The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, congratulated the President of Iraq, Nizar Amidi, on Saturday on his assumption of office, affirming his country’s desire to develop bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two countries.

Dan expressed his "warmest congratulations and best wishes to the President for success and to the Iraqi people for further prosperity and progress," said a statement issued by the Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He emphasized "his country’s desire to develop bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two friendly countries."
