A fire and explosion occurred on board a South Korean ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement: "A fire and explosion occurred on board a South Korean ship in the Strait of Hormuz, with 24 crew members on board, on Monday.”
The Ministry added, "We are investigating the cause of the fire and the details of the damage to the South Korean ship."
"We are in close contact with the relevant countries,” underscored the Ministry.
