The Fujairah Government Media Office in the UAE announced a fire in Fujairah Petroleum Industries Area following a drone attack launched from Iran.
The office stated in a statement: "The competent authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah confirmed a large fire in Fujairah Petroleum Industries Area (Fawz) caused by a drone attack coming from Iran."
For its part, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced the detection of four missiles launched from Iran. It stated that it successfully intercepted three missiles over UAE territorial waters, while the fourth fell into the sea.
The ministry stated: "We detected four missiles from Iran and successfully intercepted three over our territorial waters, while the fourth fell into the sea." It added that "air defenses are currently engaging missile and drone attacks coming from Iran."
The UK Maritime Security Operations (UKMSO) reported: "We received a report of an incident 14 miles west of Saqr Port in the UAE."
