Global oil prices saw a significant increase in international markets today, with Brent crude surpassing the $100 per barrel mark, influenced by trading activity and market demand.
Brent crude rose by more than 6%, exceeding $100.10 per barrel.
Similarly, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also saw a simultaneous increase of more than 5%, reaching $91.16 per barrel.
This rise comes amid close monitoring by global markets of changes in energy supply and demand and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
