Parliament Speaker Haibat al-Halbousi affirmed on Monday that the judiciary and parliament have taken measures, in cooperation with the executive authority, to combat corruption.
Al-Halbousi stated, in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the judiciary and parliament have taken measures, in cooperation with the executive authority, to combat corruption," clarifying that "there is no immunity for the corrupt."
