Kuwait condemns Iranian attack on Bahrain
Kuwait’s foreign ministry issued a statement on Saturday condemning Iran’s drone attack on Bahrain, calling it a violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and international law, as well as a threat to the security and stability of the region.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strong denunciation of the reprehensible Iranian aggression against the territories of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain,” the statement said.
Iran announced on Saturday that it would attack US-linked targets in retaliation for US strikes on its coastal surveillance facilities, amid an unstable peace deal.
