Oil prices declined this Friday morning, heading toward sharp weekly losses as supply concerns eased with more stranded oil tankers exiting the Strait of Hormuz, despite a cargo ship being targeted near Oman the previous day.
Brent crude futures fell by 19 cents, or 0.25%, to $75.07 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped by 13 cents, or 0.18%, to $71.79 a barrel.
