US President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday that the ongoing talks with Iran are progressing well, noting that Tehran has agreed to long-term nuclear inspections.

"Iran has fully and completely agreed to the highest level of nuclear inspections for a long period of time," Trump said, while he added that "if Iran had not agreed to nuclear inspections, there would have been no further negotiations."

"I will keep all ships in their positions to reimpose the embargo if necessary. This will ensure integrity in the nuclear file, and if Iran does not agree to this, there will be no further negotiations," he added.

"Reimposing sanctions on Iran is highly unlikely at this stage, and the funds released by the Treasury Department regarding Iran are being held in an escrow account under Washington's control," he stated.

"These funds will be used to purchase food and medical supplies from America, such as corn, wheat, and soybeans," he explained.

"I agreed to lift the naval blockade on Iran based on significant Iranian concessions, including allowing nuclear inspections," he confirmed.
