Prime Minister Chairs the First Meeting of the Service and Engineering Effort Team

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi chaired today, Sunday, the first meeting of the Service and Engineering Effort Team.

“The Prime Minister affirmed that delivering services to populated and underserved areas is among the government’s foremost priorities and reflects its commitment to serving our beloved people,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.

The statement added,“In this regard, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi directed the resumption of work on suspended and stalled projects and the launch of new projects in accordance with priorities determined by citizens’ needs and the level of importance, while ensuring sound expenditure management that preserves the quality of implementation. He also directed the adoption of standard engineering specifications in road construction and infrastructure development”.

The Prime Minister further directed the formation of field survey committees to assess the conditions of deprived and remote areas that have not yet benefited from the Service and Engineering Effort Team projects, in preparation for including them in future plans.
