The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced that the security threat level in the Strait of Hormuz remains at a highly critical level.
The agency stated that maritime traffic through the vital waterway, which connects the Arabian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman, continues to face elevated safety and security risks. It urged commercial vessels to exercise the highest degree of caution and adhere to relevant security guidance and procedures.
