In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), ICTS said its units were conducting field inspection operations across various provinces when one of its detachments was struck by an explosive device in Al-Hatra desert area, southwest of Nineveh.
The incident resulted in the martyrdom of three fighters and the injury of four others, the statement said.
ICTS affirmed that its personnel continue to carry out their national duties with determination and resolve, adding that the “pure blood of the martyrs” will serve as an incentive to pursue remaining terrorist elements and protect Iraq’s security and stability.
