Iran says it will ‘never stop supporting’ Hezbollah
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that he sent a message to Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem pledging Iran “will never stop supporting” the “freedom-seeking” efforts of the armed group to liberate Lebanon from Israeli aggression.
In a statement released on Telegram, Araghchi emphasised Tehran’s insistence during their mediation talks with the US that “any agreement should be linked to the establishment of a ceasefire in Lebanon”, included in Iran’s latest proposal which is currently under review.
