The Iraqi Drilling Company announced on Tuesday the completion and rehabilitation of two oil wells in the West Qurna/1 and Zubair oil fields.
The company said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that, “In implementation of the directives of Oil Minister expert Bassem Mohammed Khudair aimed at increasing production and maximizing the use of national capabilities, the technical and engineering staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the rehabilitation works of two oil wells in the West Qurna/1 and Zubair fields using the IDC 30 and IDC 40 workover rigs.”
It added that “this achievement comes within the framework of supporting the Ministry of Oil’s plans to enhance production rates,” stressing that “the company continues to carry out its operational tasks with high efficiency, relying on its national expertise and advanced technical capabilities to support the oil sector and achieve the planned production targets.”
