The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, and the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, emphasized on Tuesday the necessity of fulfilling constitutional obligations within the specified timeframes.
This came during a meeting between the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, and the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, to discuss several files and issues of mutual interest.
The meeting addressed the general situation in the country and stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between constitutional authorities and institutions to support political and institutional stability in Iraq.
The two sides also discussed the formation of the government and the need to fulfill constitutional obligations within the specified timeframes, in accordance with legal and constitutional frameworks and in the best interest of the nation.
