U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that the American military buildup in the region is ongoing.
In remarks to Fox News, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Trump said “the U.S. military buildup in the region is continuing,” adding that “Iran will be wiped off the face of the earth if it attacks American ships carrying out the freedom mission.”
He added, “We have more weapons and ammunition, and at a much higher level than before.”
Trump said Iran had become “more flexible” in peace negotiations, noting that “either the Iranians reach an agreement in good faith, or we will resume combat operations.”
