Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Secretary-General Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali and Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil stressed the importance of promoting peaceful coexistence among all communities in Nineveh.
According to a statement issued by Al-Khazali's media office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Khazali met with Al-Dakhil in Baghdad on Friday to discuss ways to support the province and advance reconstruction and development efforts.
Al-Khazali reaffirmed his full support for improving conditions in Nineveh and accelerating reconstruction, stressing the importance of preserving and strengthening security and promoting peaceful coexistence among all of the province's communities to reinforce social stability and advance development and public services.
He also underscored the need for closer coordination between the federal and local governments to achieve further progress and prosperity.
