Statement from GCC and Jordan: We Welcome the Iraqi PM's Decision to Restrict Weapons to the State

A joint statement issued by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and Jordan welcomed Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zubaidi's decision to restrict weapons to the state.

The statement read: "The GCC states and Jordan welcome the Iraqi Prime Minister's decision to restrict weapons to the state and affirm their support for his government's measures."
