The Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) warned the British government on Thursday against allowing US bombers to launch attacks on Iran from its bases.
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Revolutionary Guard said, "Any base used to launch attacks on Iranian territory is a legitimate target for our forces," referring to military bases that the United States might use in its operations against Tehran.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the British government's decision to place its bases and military capabilities at the disposal of the United States to carry out attacks on Iran, considering that "this makes London responsible for the developments resulting from this step."
