Speaker of Parliament, Haybat al-Halbousi, met with French and Jordanian Ambassadors to discuss bilateral relations and ways to expand cooperation.

Al-Halbousi received French Ambassador Patrick Durel on Wednesday, on the occasion of the end of his term in Iraq, said the Speaker's Media Office in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency INA.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.

Al-Halbousi also received the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, Maher Tarawneh.

They discussed bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two brotherly countries, as well as the situation in the region and several issues of common interest.
