Parliament Speaker and KDP delegation stress importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination

Parliament Speaker Haybat al-Halbousi met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) parliamentary bloc to discuss the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among political blocs.

"Al-Halbousi received a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party parliamentary bloc, headed by MP Shakhwan Abdullah," said the Speaker's media office in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The meeting discussed several issues related to the work of Parliament and emphasized “the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among political blocs to enhance the legislative and oversight roles of Parliament and to enact important legislation."
